pepperoni pasta - easy side dish 

My favorite thing about this recipe is how easy you can adapt it. You can use sausage instead for a different flavor. Add in some chopped onions, red peppers, mushrooms, or black olives and you have a completely different dinner without spending anymore time in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
  2. 2 cans of crushed tomatoes or 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
  3. 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning eliminate this if using spaghetti sauce
  4. 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  5. ½ can water
  6. handful of pepperonis we cut them in half
  7. ½ pkg pasta we use rotini or penne

Instructions

  1. Brown your ground beef or ground turkey completely in a skillet.
  2. Drain.
  3. Bring a pot of water to boil for your pasta.
  4. Add in crushed tomatoes, seasonings, and water.
  5. Add in pepperonis and stir slightly.
  6. Bring skillet to a boil, then cover and let simmer on low for 10 minutes.
  7. Add pasta to water and boil according to directions. (about 8 minutes)
  8. Serve sauce on top of pasta.
  9. Add parmesan cheese (optional).
  10. Enjoy
