Buttery Lemon Garlic Rice Recipe

Ingredients (4 servings)

  1. 2 cups chicken broth
  2. 1 cup basmati rice
  3. 1/2 small lemon, juiced (zest optional)
  4. 1/2 stick butter
  5. 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  7. bleck pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, except fresh parsley.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes or until water is absorbed and rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add fresh parsley, additional black pepper if needed
